Kevin Kuska's Headshot

We lcome to Kuska Studios!

Kevin Kuska, founder and owner, has had a love for the science of the human voice since his freshman year at Millikin University. He was lucky to be placed into Dr. Amy Fuller's voice studio where she encouraged and fostered a love for the voice the led Kevin down a rabbit hole. When the pandemic shut down the world in March of 2020, Dr. Fuller pointed Kevin to an online workshop for Somatic Voicework the LoVetri Method™ being hosted by Jeanie LoVetri. After 2 hours watching this workshop on Zoom, Kevin knew he had to become certified in this method.

Over the next year, Kevin completed all 3 levels of Somatic Voicework as well as several additional workshops focusing solely on belting. After learning new skills from these trainings, he saw a gap in the musical theatre industry when it came to vocal knowledge. He adored the simplistic approach that Jeanie LoVetri created and became committed to sharing his new knowledge with his students.

After moving to the Chicagoland area, Kevin began teaching private voice to students at BAMtheatre in Hinsdale, as well as teaching theatre industry professionals in Chicago. His student base has ranged from beginner to professional, and he realized that there was more to the voice that he needed to learn. His is now currently pursuing his Master's Degree in Vocal Pedagogy from Rider University with an emphasis in Musical Theatre.

After appearing at theatres such as the Cadillac Palace Theatre, Drury Lane Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, and Paramount Theatre, Kevin has the skills to equip his students of all levels with the tools needed to be successful auditioners and performers.
