Kevin Kuska's Headshot

We lcome to Kuska Studios!

Kevin Kuska, founder and owner, has had a love for the science of the human voice since his freshman year at Millikin University. He was lucky to be placed into Dr. Amy Fuller's voice studio where she encouraged and fostered a love for the voice the led Kevin down a rabbit hole. When the pandemic shut down the world in March of 2020, Dr. Fuller pointed Kevin to an online workshop for Somatic Voicework the LoVetri Method™ being hosted by Jeanie LoVetri. After the 2 hour Zoom workshop, Kevin knew he had to become certified in this method.

Over the next year, Kevin completed all 3 levels of Somatic Voicework as well as several additional workshops focusing solely on belting. After learning new skills from these trainings, he saw a gap in the musical theatre industry when it came to vocal knowledge. He has continued to build his teaching skills through additional trainings and private lessons.

After moving to the Chicagoland area, Kevin began teaching private voice to students at BAMtheatre in Hinsdale, as well as teaching theatre industry professionals in Chicago. His student base has ranged from beginner to professional, and he realized that there was more to the voice that he needed to learn. His is now currently pursuing his Master's Degree in Vocal Pedagogy from Rider University with an emphasis in Musical Theatre.

Kevin has also taken an interest in Neurology Based Voice Teaching, currently working on the Level 1 Certification in Vocal Kinesthetics.

He has performed at many regional theatres, including the Paramount Theatre, Drury Lane Theatre, Marriott Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, the Cadillac Palace Theatre, and is currently performing on the National Tour of Meredith Wilson's The Music Man.
